transit-Memento
Part of 'Transit' the exhibition, 2010
All that is constructed is bound to be changed again...
'change is the only constant'
A witness, a monument, a memento of belonging and otherness in the city of constantly mutating urbanity, among the temporality of demolition re-constructon and construction sites. A struggle over the right to a transient city and the right to be different, a struggle to finding ones concrete monument; one's proof of existence, in a concrete mixer a scaffold or a crane.
An investigation of the urbanization, a critique of the everyday micro-geographies in a macro-geography that is dynamically and unevenly transit.
