/The design is inspired by nature's “Sacred Geometries” the core of nature and the Islamic arts that shapes most of the Sabil ceilings into infinite overlapping forms.

Borrowing from the “Muqarnas” and its infinite geometry; the triumph of Islamic geometry and design, the pavilion is the outcome of 3 multiplying, intersecting cross-vaults and their meeting points creating a collecting cone that captures water from the atmosphere and drains it down the structural pipes to feed the fountain centered in the space.

/the four petals infinite geometry and the proportions of the seed of life pattern, genertating a series of infinte triangles with a 30 degree angle, which dictated our design rhythm
/the cross vault, that will evolve into a shelter creating a round space. The very first form of indigenous shelters were found round in form, usually inspired by the surrounding forms ; trees, plants and stones.
/Throughout the study of wild plants found in Jordan’s nature, the pavilion’s geometry was derived from the Black Iris; the national flower of Jordan, which adapts to the desert’s dry environment, harsh sun and strong wind.
/the pavilion spatial and visual exploration of form is an embodiment of the “seed of life” pattern; a universal symbol of creation, and its geometries, numbers and rhythm, where the petals echoes and rotate in specific angles to create the space within.

/the structure is formed frm four petals where one vertex is lifted up to create a nine-meter high open pyramid structure; the primative from of structure man had borrowed from nature.
/the pavilion is the outcome of 3 multiplying, intersecting cross-vaults and their meeting points
/the circular layout generated provides a balance of looking out towards nature, but then inwards to the self and the hearth. The overlapping triangular petals meet at the top creating a round aperture that is open to the sky, covered with a dense fiber net that allows air to escape from the interior during summer, but not for rainwater in winter.
